Why This Role Matters

Do you enjoy working at the intersection of platform engineering, cloud architecture, and real-world customer systems?
Are you motivated by solving complex production challenges while helping engineering teams operate reliably at scale?

We’re building a next-generation Internal Developer Platform used by engineering teams to manage infrastructure, workflows, and services in a scalable and reliable way.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a highly technical team and operate at the intersection of platform engineering, system architecture, and customer environments.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and implement solutions for real-world systems, while also contributing to how the platform itself evolves.

About the company: Tech Product Company / SaaS / Platform engineering

How You'll Contribute

  • Act as the primary DevOps point of contact for one or more customers — leading technical conversations, discovery sessions, workshops, and architecture reviews with engineering leaders and stakeholders.

  • Translate business and technical needs into actionable architectures and implementation plans.

  • Own delivery across projects: scope, timelines, risks, and communication.

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

  • Architect and operate systems across multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI), including networking, IAM, compute, and managed services.

  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (modules, remote state, workspaces, policy-as-code) at production scale.

  • Implement and manage observability systems (logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerting) using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Loki, etc.

  • Define and improve SLIs/SLOs, incident response processes, and reliability practices.

  • Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS / AKS / GKE).

  • Drive automation, DevSecOps, and FinOps initiatives — improving security, reducing operational toil, and optimizing cloud costs.

  • Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices and culture across teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Strong hands-on experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles.

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure — ideally more than one).

  • Proven experience designing and operating production-grade systems.

  • Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

  • Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.

  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.

  • Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.

  • Ability to work directly with clients and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Experience working in high-growth, product-driven environments is a plus.

  • English: intermediate to advanced (client-facing).

Perks & Benefits

  • Work on real, complex systems in production, not just internal tooling

  • Be part of a highly technical, senior team

  • Exposure to multiple architectures, industries, and scaling challenges

  • Influence both customer systems and platform evolution

  • 100% Remote (Argentina)

  • Competitive salary in USD

  • Work with a highly technical founding team building a next-generation developer platform
