Join a high-performing Urgent Care team in Northern California as a Physician Assistant on an evening shift (32 hours/week). In this role you'll deliver fast-paced, high-quality care in a collaborative and supportive environment, working with a diverse patient population across clinical and procedural responsibilities. Evening shift with rotating bi-weekly schedule; occasional travel to nearby locations may be required.

How You'll Contribute

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
  • Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, ECGs, and other diagnostics.
  • Provide treatments including wound care, suturing, immunizations, and other therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop care plans and document progress while ensuring continuity of care.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, emotional wellness, and chronic disease management.
  • May assist with admissions, discharges, inpatient rounding, and minor procedures depending on department needs.
  • Participate in evening and rotating weekend shifts (see schedule below).
  • Travel to nearby locations (Roseville/Folsom) may be required.

Schedule:
Evening shift, 32 hours/week. Rotating bi-weekly schedule:
Week 1: Sun (10am-6pm), Mon/Thu/Fri (12:30pm-8:30pm)
Week 2: Mon/Tue/Wed (12pm-8:30pm), Sat (10am-6pm)

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active Physician Assistant License (California).
  • National Certification (NCCPA).
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Emergency or Urgent Care setting (within the past 5 years).

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of recent Emergency or Urgent Care experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong procedural skills and adaptability in a high-volume setting.
