A dynamic health system in the Happy Valley area is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager II to lead and oversee nursing operations across multiple clinical units. This pivotal leadership opportunity within a high-acuity hospital setting is ideal for a nurse leader with a background in Cath Lab and a passion for quality, safety, and patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager will implement best practice care models, manage patient services and staff supervision, oversee operational performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across a 24/7 care environment. Candidates with specialized experience in Operating Room, Emergency Services, Critical Care, or Maternal-Child Health are encouraged to apply.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead nursing operations across multiple departments, ensuring high-quality and safe care delivery.
  • Oversee staff training, performance evaluations, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Manage resource allocation, patient care standards, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare leaders on strategic planning and service delivery improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and standards.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resource planning, and emergency preparedness.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in direct patient care.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare business operations or clinical leadership.
  • 4+ years in a leadership role (with or without direct reports).
  • Active RN license in the state of Oregon.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab (Cath Lab) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from AHA.
  • Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in a relevant specialty.

Key Skills Needed:

  • Leadership in nursing operations
  • Compliance and regulatory knowledge (Joint Commission, Nursing Practice Act)
  • Cath Lab procedural experience
