MissionHires is seeking an on-site Infrastructure Support Specialist in Reidsville, NC to lead IT rollouts, manage support tickets, maintain servers and storage, strengthen security, and support end users. You’ll work across Windows environments, networking, M365, virtualization, and security tools to keep systems reliable, secure, and efficient in a fast-paced setting.

How You'll Contribute

  • Lead hardware/software rollouts for PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related peripherals
  • Monitor and resolve IT support tickets, escalating issues when appropriate
  • Install, configure, and secure enterprise servers and storage systems
  • Implement and maintain IT security protocols, updates, and cybersecurity measures
  • Administer user accounts and provide responsive end-user support and training
  • Monitor system health and performance; identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
  • Manage IT asset procurement and inventory for uninterrupted operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize IT workflows and security processes
  • Support Windows client/server environments, Active Directory, and DNS
  • Administer and support LAN technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and Ubiquiti/Aruba networking
  • Manage internet security solutions (VPN, Fortinet firewall, antivirus, and network monitoring)
  • Support virtual client environments (Citrix) and ESXi virtualization
  • Administer M365 including Office, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID
  • Coordinate with vendors and global teams to resolve issues and improve services
  • Participate in off-hours work and on-call rotations as needed

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years of hands-on IT infrastructure support experience or an undergraduate degree in IT or related field
  • Proven troubleshooting experience with PCs, printers, and handheld scanners
  • Strong Windows client/server administration skills, including Active Directory and DNS
  • Hands-on LAN networking experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, and Ubiquiti/Aruba gear
  • Experience with VPNs, Fortinet firewalls, antivirus, and network monitoring tools
  • Experience supporting Citrix virtual clients and ESXi environments
  • M365 administration across Office Suite, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID
  • Clear, professional communication skills to support users at all levels and partner with vendors/global teams
  • Willingness to work off-hours and participate in on-call support
  • On-site availability in Reidsville, NC, five days per week
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
