We are currently recruiting a CT Technologist Specialist I to support diagnostic imaging services during the evening shift at a respected healthcare facility in Western Massachusetts. This full-time role demands technical precision, autonomous decision-making, and a commitment to patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is a motivated and adaptable technologist capable of handling both CT and general radiographic imaging in a high-volume setting, working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Includes rotating holidays and weekends

How You'll Contribute

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operating and troubleshooting imaging systems (CT, CR/DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS)
  • Performing diagnostic procedures including IV insertion and contrast injections
  • Supporting patient transport and safety protocols
  • Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging results
  • Providing peer mentoring and taking on supervisory responsibilities as delegated by department leadership

What Makes You a Great Fit

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current registration with the ARRT in Radiography (R)
  • Valid Massachusetts Radiology License
  • Current CPR certification
  • CT certification preferred (must be obtained within 1 year of hire)
  • At least 1 year of X-ray experience preferred

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in CR, DR, CT scanning, and PACS
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve in clinical settings
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with infection control standards and HIPAA compliance
