How You'll Contribute
- Serve as scrub assistant during surgical procedures.
- Maintain and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Support flow and readiness of surgical cases.
- Collaborate closely with RNs and physicians for optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring less experienced staff.
- Participate in continued education and department goals.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Current certification through NBSTSA or NCCT (please include CST# and expiration).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certified via the American Heart Association.
- CVOR Role: Minimum 1 year of current CVOR surgical tech experience.
- Main OR Role: Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Main OR (Ortho experience preferred).
- Surgical Center experience will not be considered.
- Updated and accurate resume including job history and units worked.
- First-scrub competency in specialized areas (CVOR or Main OR).
- Strong knowledge of perioperative patient care.
